Private Sponsorship vs Tadbeer Centre Sponsorship
There are two ways to employ a domestic worker in the UAE:
- Private sponsorship: you sponsor the worker yourself. You hold the MOHRE domestic worker permit and residence, sign the standard contract and are responsible for renewal and cancellation. Wordcraft prepares and files the paperwork through the approved channels.
- Tadbeer center sponsorship: a MOHRE-licensed Tadbeer center recruits and sponsors the worker, and you pay the center for the service. The center handles the visa itself.

Sponsor Requirements
To sponsor a domestic worker privately you usually need a valid residence visa and Emirates ID, a minimum income and suitable accommodation, as set by the authorities and confirmed at application. Married sponsors are often asked for an attested marriage certificate; see marriage certificate attestation. Golden visa holders can also sponsor domestic workers under their own rules. The worker needs a medical fitness test, Emirates ID biometrics and health insurance.
