Sudan certificate attestation in UAE is still needed for Sudanese degrees, marriage certificates and children's birth certificates used for UAE jobs, family visas, schools and licenses, but the usual route through Sudanese ministries and a UAE mission may not run in its normal form. Wordcraft checks your document, tells you what is possible today, and puts it in a free written quote within 10–30 minutes.

Sudan Attestation Today: How We Handle Each Document

In normal times a Sudanese document passes from the issuing authority to the competent Sudanese ministry, the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and then the UAE mission. At present each link in that chain has to be checked for your specific document. Our approach:

  1. Document review. We record which stamps and attestations the document already carries.
  2. Channel check. We confirm which channel UAE authorities currently accept for that type of document, because these arrangements have changed and may change again.
  3. Finishing earlier attestations. A paper document attested at a UAE Embassy under the older system may be completed with MOFA attestation in the UAE; we check whether that applies.
  4. Translation and submission. Once attestation is complete, we arrange any translation the receiving office requires.

If your document cannot be attested at present, the quote says so and outlines what the receiving authority may accept instead. Where the embassy route runs normally in other countries, it works as described on our UAE embassy attestation page.

A Large Community, Many Half-Finished Files

The Sudanese community in the UAE is large and long-established: doctors, engineers, accountants, teachers and families who have lived here for decades. Since the situation in Sudan changed, many people also arrive with documents that were never attested, or attested only part of the way.

We start with what the document already carries. A degree with Sudanese ministry stamps, or a paper attested under the older system, can be closer to finished than it looks. Where a step cannot currently be completed, we tell you plainly instead of holding your document.

Sudanese Documents We Attest

  • University degrees, diplomas and transcripts from Sudanese universities
  • Sudanese School Certificate and other school records
  • Birth, marriage, divorce and death certificates
  • Police clearance certificates
  • Experience certificates and professional council letters
  • Powers of attorney and company documents

English-Language Degrees and Arabic Civil Records

Sudanese civil-status records are in Arabic and are normally accepted in the UAE without translation. Many Sudanese degrees and transcripts, especially in medicine and engineering, are issued in English. If a UAE court, notary or ministry asks for Arabic, we provide legal translation by an MOJ-certified legal translator, and English translations of Arabic records for employers or foreign embassies.

Sending Us a Sudanese Document

  • The original Sudanese document, with every existing stamp
  • Passport copy of the holder
  • Transcripts for any degree headed to equivalency or a licensing board
  • Emirates ID or residence visa copy
  • A signed authorization letter

Photograph every page and every stamp and send them by WhatsApp or email, or visit our Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah or Ras Al Khaimah office. For Sudanese files the timeline depends above all on the channel open to your document when you apply, so the written answer sets out the route, what we can and cannot do, and the expected timing.

Who Needs Sudanese Documents Attested

  • Sudanese doctors, nurses and engineers applying for UAE professional licenses
  • Families sponsoring a spouse or children with Sudanese marriage certificates and birth certificates
  • Graduates applying for certificate equivalency
  • Parents enrolling children in UAE schools with Sudanese school records
  • Sudanese residents renewing a visa or changing employer who need attested qualifications

Sudan Certificate Attestation FAQ

Is it possible to attest Sudanese documents for the UAE right now?

That depends on the document and what it already carries. We look at it and tell you honestly which channel is currently accepted, or that attestation is not possible at present.

My Sudanese degree already has a UAE Embassy stamp. What is next?

Under the older paper system, a document stamped at a UAE Embassy may still need MOFA attestation in the UAE. Send a photo and we confirm whether that step finishes it.

I lost my original documents. Can a copy be attested?

Attestation normally requires an original, an officially issued replacement or a certified copy. Tell us what you hold and we explain what the receiving authority may take.

Do Sudanese documents need translation in the UAE?

Arabic records usually do not. English degrees and transcripts may need an Arabic legal translation when the receiving office asks.

How long does Sudan certificate attestation take?

It depends on the channel available for your document at the time. Your free quote sets out the route and a realistic timeline.
