Why Choose a Certified Spanish Legal Translator
A single mistranslation can invalidate a contract or delay a court case. Our Spanish legal translators are licensed by the UAE Ministry of Justice (MOJ), so every translation is accepted the first time.

Spanish Translation Across the UAE
Certified Spanish translation in all emirates with free pickup and delivery. Standard 1–2 working days; same-day Express available. See our main Legal Translation in Dubai page.
Documents You Need
- A clear scan or photo of every page of your Spanish document — front and back, including stamps, seals and any handwritten notes
- A copy of your passport, so names are spelled exactly as they appear in it
- The name of the authority that will receive the translation (court, ministry, embassy, bank, school or free zone), so we format it to that authority's requirements
- Any earlier translation or attestation stamps on the document, so names and terms stay consistent
- The original document, kept ready — some authorities ask to see it alongside the certified translation
How It Works — Step by Step
- Send your document on WhatsApp or email, or drop it at any of our four offices — Dubai HQ (Al Twar), Abu Dhabi, Sharjah or Ras Al Khaimah.
- Get a free quote within 10–30 minutes confirming the language pair, the receiving authority and the delivery time — before any work starts.
- Translation and review — a legal translator translates your Spanish document and a second linguist proofreads it.
- Certification — the translation is stamped and signed by an MOJ-licensed legal translator.
- Collection or free delivery — pick it up from our office or use our free pickup and delivery. If the receiving authority asks for it, we can also arrange notarization or MOFA attestation.
Spanish-Language Documents From Spain and Latin America
Spanish documents reach us from Spain and from across Latin America, and the paperwork differs by country:
- Spain: certificados de nacimiento and matrimonio, the libro de familia, certificados de antecedentes penales, escrituras (notarial deeds), poderes notariales (powers of attorney) and company extracts from the Registro Mercantil
- Mexico: actas de nacimiento and matrimonio, CURP-linked records and notarial instruments
- Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Venezuela: civil-registry certificates, police certificates, university degrees and court decisions
Spanish names are one of the most common sources of mismatches: most people carry two surnames, and passports, visas and certificates do not always show both in the same order. We follow your passport exactly and keep both surnames consistent across every translated document.
Apostilled Spanish and Latin American Papers Still Need UAE Legalization
Spain and most Latin American countries issue apostilles, and many customers assume that settles it. For the UAE it does not, because the UAE never joined the Hague convention. The paper is legalized by the issuing country's foreign ministry and then by the UAE Embassy accredited there; the UAE MOFA attestation is now part of that embassy step, issued digitally. Only after that does an MOJ-licensed legal translator translate it into Arabic. Our guide Translate or attest first? sets out the order. Going the other way, from the UAE to Spain or Latin America, the destination may want its own sworn translator; see sworn translation.
For Brazilian, French and Italian Papers
Customers from Brazil and Portugal have their own Portuguese legal translation page, where certidões and apostilles are covered in detail. Spanish speakers with French or Italian records can use French or Italian legal translation in the same order.
