Kuwait certificate attestation in UAE is needed whenever a degree, experience letter, school record or marriage certificate issued in Kuwait must be accepted by a UAE employer, ministry, school or free zone. The document is authenticated in Kuwait and then legalized by the UAE Embassy there. Wordcraft coordinates both from the UAE and confirms your route in a free written quote within 10–30 minutes.
Most Kuwaiti Files We See Belong to Expatriates
Many people who ask us about Kuwaiti papers are not Kuwaiti. They are engineers, nurses, accountants and teachers who spent years in Kuwait and are now moving to Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Sharjah with experience letters, their children's school records and sometimes a marriage or birth certificate registered there. Kuwaiti nationals relocating for work or study need the same chain for their degrees and civil records.
Before anything is submitted we look for the problems that stop Kuwaiti files: a missing employer stamp, a letter signed by someone who has since left, or a name that differs from the passport.
- Professionals who need attested experience certificates for a UAE job title or license
- Parents enrolling children in UAE schools with records from a Kuwaiti school
- Families sponsoring a spouse or children with a marriage or birth certificate registered in Kuwait
- Kuwaiti nationals working, studying or investing in the UAE
- Companies with Kuwaiti shareholders setting up or renewing a UAE license
Kuwaiti Documents We Attest
- University degrees and transcripts from Kuwaiti universities and colleges
- Experience certificates and salary certificates from Kuwaiti employers
- School certificates and transfer certificates from Kuwaiti public and private schools
- Birth, marriage, divorce and death certificates registered in Kuwait
- Police clearance (good conduct) certificates
- Commercial licenses, company contracts and powers of attorney
How the Kuwait-to-UAE Attestation Route Works
Kuwait uses the standard GCC chain. Not every document needs every step, and our team tells you which ones apply before you pay.
- Issuer's signature and stamp. The university, school, employer, court or civil registry signs the original.
- Kuwaiti ministry, if the document calls for it. Academic records normally pass through the education ministry, while employer and company papers go to the relevant commerce or labor body.
- Kuwait Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Kuwaiti signatures and seals are authenticated here.
- UAE Embassy in Kuwait. Legalization for UAE use; this step normally includes the UAE MOFA attestation digitally under the current process.
- Use in the UAE. A translation is added first if the receiving office needs one.
Some documents can instead be attested at the Embassy of Kuwait in the UAE and then by MOFA here. If that channel fits your document, it appears in the quote. How the embassy's digital attestation works is covered under UAE embassy attestation.
What You Send Us and What Happens Next
- The original Kuwaiti document
- The holder's passport copy and, if you still have it, the Kuwaiti civil ID
- For experience certificates: the letter on company letterhead, signed and stamped
- For degrees: the transcript, if equivalency or licensing is involved
- Emirates ID or UAE visa page, for residents
- A signed authorization letter
A photo on WhatsApp or email is enough for the quote, or you can visit any of our four offices. Timing depends on the Kuwait side: whether the employer or school can still be reached, whether a ministry step applies, and the current workload at the Kuwaiti foreign ministry and the UAE Embassy. Once you accept the quote, you pay by secure link and follow the order online until the attested document comes back.
Arabic Kuwaiti Documents and English Letters
Kuwaiti government and civil records are in Arabic and normally go to UAE offices untranslated. Experience letters from international firms, private-school records and some university papers are in English. When a UAE court, notary or department needs these in Arabic, our MOJ-certified legal translators prepare the legal translation after attestation. Expatriate clients often need the opposite: an Arabic Kuwaiti record translated into English for a UAE employer or their home embassy.
Kuwait Certificate Attestation: Frequently Asked Questions
My Indian degree was attested for Kuwait. Can I use it in the UAE?
Usually not. Legalization is tied to the country of use, so a degree legalized for Kuwait generally needs fresh legalization for the UAE in the country that issued it, for example through the route on our Indian certificate attestation page.
Can you attest an experience certificate from a Kuwaiti company I no longer work for?
Yes, provided the original is signed and stamped by the company. If the company has closed or the signatory has left, mention it first so we can check what the authorities will still accept.
Is MOFA attestation in the UAE still needed after the UAE Embassy in Kuwait?
Most of the time, no. The embassy step in Kuwait now carries the UAE MOFA attestation digitally, and the quote confirms it for your document.
Do I need to be in Kuwait for the process?
No. Leave the original with us in the UAE together with an authorization letter, and we arrange the Kuwait-side steps.
How long does Kuwait certificate attestation take?
It varies with the document type and the Kuwaiti offices involved. Expect a realistic estimate for your case in the written quote.
