Why Choose a Certified German Legal Translator

German Translation Across the UAE
Certified German translation in all emirates with free pickup and delivery. Standard 1–2 working days; same-day Express available. See our main Legal Translation in Dubai page.
Documents You Need
- A clear scan or photo of every page of your German document — front and back, including stamps, seals and any handwritten notes
- A copy of your passport, so names are spelled exactly as they appear in it
- The name of the authority that will receive the translation (court, ministry, embassy, bank, school or free zone), so we format it to that authority's requirements
- Any earlier translation or attestation stamps on the document, so names and terms stay consistent
- The original document, kept ready — some authorities ask to see it alongside the certified translation
How It Works — Step by Step
- Send your document on WhatsApp or email, or drop it at any of our four offices — Dubai HQ (Al Twar), Abu Dhabi, Sharjah or Ras Al Khaimah.
- Get a free quote within 10–30 minutes confirming the language pair, the receiving authority and the delivery time — before any work starts.
- Translation and review — a legal translator translates your German document and a second linguist proofreads it.
- Certification — the translation is stamped and signed by an MOJ-licensed legal translator.
- Collection or free delivery — pick it up from our office or use our free pickup and delivery. If the receiving authority asks for it, we can also arrange notarization or MOFA attestation.
German, Austrian and Swiss Documents: Urkunden and Register Extracts
German-language documents come mainly from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and each country formats its records differently. The ones we translate most are:
- Civil-status certificates (Urkunden): Geburtsurkunde (birth), Eheurkunde (marriage), Sterbeurkunde (death) and extracts from the family register, including multilingual international extracts where the German part still needs translating
- Police certificates: the German Führungszeugnis and its Austrian and Swiss equivalents, for employment, residence and Golden Visa files
- Company documents: Handelsregisterauszug (German commercial register extract), the Austrian Firmenbuchauszug, Swiss commercial register extracts, articles of association (Gesellschaftsvertrag) and shareholder resolutions
- Education and employment: school and university certificates (Zeugnisse), diploma supplements and Arbeitszeugnisse, the German employment references written in a conventional rating language that we translate faithfully rather than paraphrase
- Notarial deeds and court decisions for property, inheritance and family matters
Swiss documents may mix German, French and Italian on one page; we translate all of it in one certified translation.
Attestation Route for Germany, Austria and Switzerland
German papers start with the issuing office or a notary, are then authenticated by the competent federal or state authority, and finish at the UAE Embassy in Berlin, which now issues the UAE MOFA attestation digitally along with its own. Austria and Switzerland each have a national authentication step before the UAE Embassy in Vienna or Bern. A German, Austrian or Swiss apostille does not replace the embassy. See Germany certificate attestation and Translate or attest first?
French, Italian and Russian Papers Alongside German
Swiss and multinational families rarely stop at German. Our French, Italian and Russian translators work from the same name list, so spellings stay aligned.
