Documents You Need
- A clear scan or photo of every page of your Hindi document — front and back, including stamps, seals and any handwritten notes
- A copy of your passport, so names are spelled exactly as they appear in it
- The name of the authority that will receive the translation (court, ministry, embassy, bank, school or free zone), so we format it to that authority's requirements
- Your preferred English spelling of names and places, if you already use one in other official papers
- The original document, kept ready — some authorities ask to see it alongside the certified translation
How It Works — Step by Step
- Send your document on WhatsApp or email, or drop it at any of our four offices — Dubai HQ (Al Twar), Abu Dhabi, Sharjah or Ras Al Khaimah.
- Get a free quote within 10–30 minutes confirming the language pair, the receiving authority and the delivery time — before any work starts.
- Translation and review — a legal translator translates your Hindi document and a second linguist proofreads it.
- Certification — the translation is stamped and signed by an MOJ-licensed legal translator.
- Collection or delivery — pick it up from our office or use our pickup and delivery service. If the receiving authority asks for it, we can also arrange notarization or MOFA attestation.
Who Needs This Service
Indian residents and businesses with documents issued in Hindi — from state certificates to court and property papers — need a certified legal translation before using them in the UAE. Typical cases:
- Residence, family-visa and Golden Visa applications
- Court cases, police matters and legal notices
- Property transfers, tenancy contracts and bank requirements
- Company formation, MOAs and commercial contracts
- School admission and certificate equivalency
Hindi Documents From North India: What to Attest First and Who Receives the Translation
Hindi papers usually come from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi. Many state certificates are bilingual, yet the handwritten entries and court text that a UAE officer relies on are often in Hindi only. This is how the common ones are handled:
| Document | Issued by | Attest before translating? | Usually submitted to |
|---|---|---|---|
| Birth or marriage certificate | Municipal body, gram panchayat or marriage registrar | Yes: state Home Department or SDM, then MEA and the UAE mission | ICP or GDRFA for residence and spouse visas; schools |
| Affidavit, name-change or succession order | Indian notary or district court | Usually yes; the route depends on the document | UAE courts, banks, ICP |
| Khatauni, jamabandi or sale deed | State revenue office or sub-registrar | Only when a UAE court or lawyer relies on it; checked case by case | UAE courts and lawyers in inheritance matters |
| Family or income certificate from the tehsil | Tehsil office | Yes, on the personal-document route | Supporting papers in family files, where requested |
| School or university certificate with Hindi text | State board or university | Yes: state HRD, then MEA and the UAE mission | MOHRE and employers, equivalency applications |
Village and family names are written as in the passport, which matters when one village is spelled three ways across a family's papers. The Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General in Dubai deal with passports and with documents signed in the UAE for use in India; certificates issued in India are still attested through the chain in India.
India's Attestation Chain Before Hindi Translation
For an Indian certificate, the state authority acts first (the Home Department or a sub-divisional magistrate for personal papers, the state education department for academic ones), then the Ministry of External Affairs, then the UAE Embassy in New Delhi or a UAE consulate, whose stamp now carries the UAE MOFA attestation in digital form. Only then is the Hindi text translated into Arabic, stamps included. Details are on Indian certificate attestation, MEA attestation and HRD attestation.
Other Indian Languages We Certify
A North Indian family file often mixes Hindi with papers from other states. We also certify Urdu, Malayalam, Tamil, Bengali and Nepali documents, so one order can cover the whole set.
