The student Golden visa in the UAE is a long-term, self-sponsored residence for outstanding high school students and university graduates with exceptional results. It lets them study or start a career without depending on a parent's visa or an employer. The route runs on grades and nominations, so certificates decide the file. Wordcraft checks eligibility, attests and translates your academic documents and files the application.

Criteria We Check at Application
- Grades: your final certificate or cumulative grade average, as shown on the official transcript.
- Institution: whether your school or university is on the list the authority accepts, and for foreign universities, its ranking.
- Graduation date: if you are still within the time window for graduates.
- Nomination: whether your school, university or the education authority has issued or can issue the recommendation.
Documents and Attestation
- Passport valid for at least six months and a recent photo
- Final school certificate or university degree, and the official transcript
- For certificates issued abroad: attestation through the home-country authorities and the UAE embassy, with the MOFA step now completed digitally
- Equivalency certificate where the authority asks for one: from MOHESR for university degrees, or the Ministry of Education for school certificates
- Nomination or recommendation letter
- Current visa and Emirates ID if you live in the UAE, and health insurance
We handle degree certificate attestation for more than 50 countries and translate any transcript that is not in Arabic or English, so the file reaches the authority complete.
Family Sponsorship and What Happens After Graduation
A student Golden visa changes who sponsors the student, and that affects the family file. Whether the student can include family members, and how the parent's existing sponsorship is closed, depends on the rules in force. We check this before applying so no one is left without status. After graduation, a graduate on a Golden visa can take up a job without needing a new employer-sponsored residence, as long as the visa remains valid. If the student Golden route does not fit, the regular student visa through a university or a parent remains available.
