Private Notaries in Ras Al Khaimah
Ras Al Khaimah regulates notaries under its own legislation, Law No. 7 of 2023 on the Notary Public (as amended), which provides for public notaries at the courts and for licensed private notaries. A private notary may perform only the notarial acts covered by the license, works from a registered office, and is supervised by the RAK courts administration.
In practice, a private notary in RAK is mostly about timing: a slot that suits your working day, or one sitting for several company signatories. A deed notarized within the scope of the license is an official notarization.
