The 5-Year Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa
The 5-year visa lets you enter the UAE as many times as you like over five years, without a UAE sponsor. Each stay is limited in length, with an overall limit on the time you spend in the country each year, and the applicant must meet the financial condition set by the authority, usually shown through recent bank statements. These limits and the required balance are confirmed at application. It is a visit visa: it does not allow you to work or to sponsor anyone.
30- and 60-Day Multiple-Entry Visit Visas
These visas are sponsored by a UAE resident relative or friend, a company or a licensed tourism company, and allow several entries within their validity. They suit visitors who plan two or three trips in a short period, for example a parent who comes for a family event, leaves, and returns for a birth or a graduation. For longer family stays, compare the parents visa or family visa, which give residence rather than a visit.
