Nursing certificate attestation in the UAE is the chain of home-country and UAE Embassy stamps that makes your nursing diploma or degree, council registration and experience letters valid for a UAE hospital. Employers need it to finish the employment visa and license file. Wordcraft attests nursing documents from 50+ countries and checks names, dates and registration numbers before submission. Doctors and pharmacists can read our healthcare professionals guide.

Nursing Documents a UAE Hospital Will Ask You to Attest

  • Your nursing qualification: GNM diploma, BSc Nursing, post-basic BSc, MSc Nursing or your country's equivalent.
  • Year-wise mark sheets or a transcript, where the employer lists them.
  • Nursing council or board registration, such as a state nursing council certificate or a PRC license.
  • Experience letters from every hospital, stating dates, ward or specialty and your registration number. See experience certificate attestation.
  • Good standing certificate from the council you are registered with, if requested.
  • Marriage and children's birth certificates if you will sponsor your family later.

Why Attestation Does Not Replace DataFlow PSV

Nurses licensed by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi (DOH) or the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) also pass primary source verification (PSV). The regulator's appointed provider, commonly the DataFlow Group, contacts your college, council and past hospitals directly. Attestation is a different thing: it legalizes the paper certificate so that your employer and the visa system can use it. Most nurses need both. Wordcraft handles attestation and Arabic legal translation, while PSV is opened through the regulator's licensing portal.

Nursing Certificate Attestation Routes by Country

India

Depending on the state and the certificate, the state education department, the university or the nursing council verifies it first. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) authenticates it next, and the UAE Embassy in New Delhi or a UAE consulate legalizes it. See Indian certificate attestation, and for nurses who trained in Kerala, Kerala HRD attestation.

Philippines

The issuing school or the relevant authority verifies the document first (CHED for degrees, or PRC where the document calls for it). The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) then authenticates it and the UAE Embassy in Manila legalizes it. See Philippine document attestation.

Kenya, Nigeria and other countries

The college or nursing council confirms the certificate, the foreign ministry authenticates it, and the UAE Embassy in that country legalizes it. That embassy step now carries the UAE MOFA attestation in digital form, so a nursing certificate rarely needs a second MOFA visit after it arrives. Common Reasons Nursing Files Come Back

  • A maiden name on the GNM certificate and a married name on the passport, with no affidavit linking them.
  • Experience letters on plain paper, unsigned, or missing the dates of service.
  • Council registration that lapsed before the file was submitted.
  • A post-basic BSc attested while the original GNM diploma, which the employer also listed, was left out.
  • A provisional certificate sent where the regulator expects the final one.

What to Send Us

  • Your nursing certificates and mark sheets (originals once the route is agreed)
  • Registration certificate and each experience letter
  • A passport copy, so we can match the spelling of your name
  • Your UAE entry permit or visa copy, if it has been issued
  • The offer letter or the document list from the hospital

Photos on WhatsApp are enough to start. We answer with the route for each document and a written quote within 10–30 minutes, and collect the originals in any emirate once you confirm.

Recruitment Agencies and Hospital HR Teams

We regularly prepare batches of nurse files for recruiters and hospital HR departments, one route per nationality and one tracker for the whole group. Nurses planning long-term residence can read our Golden Visa for nurses guide.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is nursing certificate attestation the same as DataFlow verification?

No. DataFlow-style PSV is the regulator's credential check, while attestation legalizes the certificate itself. Most nurses go through both.

Do my GNM and BSc certificates have to be attested separately?

Yes, each certificate is its own document in the chain. If the hospital only wants your highest qualification, we say so before you pay for more.

The name on my nursing certificate is not the one in my passport. What now?

Mismatched names are one of the main rejection causes. Depending on the country, a supporting affidavit or a one-and-the-same-person certificate usually fixes it, and we advise before anything is submitted.

Can you attest experience letters from hospitals in two countries?

Yes. Each country gets its own route and both run in parallel.

Does my PRC license need attestation as well as my diploma?

Only if your employer or regulator lists it. Many Philippine nurses attest the degree and PRC license together, and we check your list first.

How long does nursing certificate attestation take?

That depends on the issuing country and how many documents you have. Your written quote gives the expected timing for your file.
