Documents You Need
- A clear scan or photo of every page of your Persian (Farsi) document — front and back, including stamps, seals and any handwritten notes
- A copy of your passport, so names are spelled exactly as they appear in it
- The name of the authority that will receive the translation (court, ministry, embassy, bank, school or free zone), so we format it to that authority's requirements
- Your preferred English spelling of names and places, if you already use one in other official papers
- The original document, kept ready — some authorities ask to see it alongside the certified translation
How It Works — Step by Step
- Send your document on WhatsApp or email, or drop it at any of our four offices — Dubai HQ (Al Twar), Abu Dhabi, Sharjah or Ras Al Khaimah.
- Get a free quote within 10–30 minutes confirming the language pair, the receiving authority and the delivery time — before any work starts.
- Translation and review — a legal translator translates your Persian (Farsi) document and a second linguist proofreads it.
- Certification — the translation is stamped and signed by an MOJ-licensed legal translator.
- Collection or delivery — pick it up from our office or use our pickup and delivery service. If the receiving authority asks for it, we can also arrange notarization or MOFA attestation.
Who Needs This Service
Iranian residents, investors and companies — and anyone holding documents issued in Persian — need a certified legal translation into Arabic or English before those documents can be used with a UAE authority. Typical cases:
- Residence, family-visa and Golden Visa applications
- Court cases, police matters and legal notices
- Property transfers, tenancy contracts and bank requirements
- Company formation, MOAs and commercial contracts
- School admission and certificate equivalency
Dari Documents From Afghanistan
Dari is the Afghan form of Persian, and we translate Dari documents alongside Farsi. Afghan residents of the UAE most often bring:
- Tazkira (national ID), both the older paper booklet and the newer electronic tazkira
- Nikah documents and marriage certificates for spouse visas and family sponsorship
- Court papers: divorce, guardianship and inheritance decisions
- School and university certificates for equivalency and employment
Afghan dates are often written in the Solar Hijri calendar; we give them with the Gregorian equivalent. Authentication of Afghan documents has changed several times in recent years, so we check what is currently possible for your paper before any translation starts. Pashto papers from the same family go to our Pashto legal translation team.
Iranian Civil Documents: Shenasnameh, Marriage and Degree Certificates
The Iranian business community in Deira and Bur Dubai, and Iranian families across the UAE, bring us documents from Iran's civil registry and courts:
- Shenasnameh (birth certificate booklet), including the pages recording marriages, divorces, children and deaths
- Marriage certificates (sanad-e ezdevaj) and divorce certificates from notary offices
- University degrees and transcripts for equivalency and professional licensing
- Company documents, contracts and powers of attorney for trading companies
Iranian documents use the Solar Hijri calendar, and we add the Gregorian date so the file is clear to UAE authorities. Please note that we translate Iranian documents but do not currently arrange attestation for documents issued in Iran. If the receiving UAE authority requires attestation, the document should carry it before we translate, and the translation then covers the stamps as well. See also legal translation in Dubai.
