• Foreign documents, MOFA included at the UAE Embassy: the UAE Embassy or Consulate in the issuing country completes the UAE MOFA attestation digitally together with its own legalization, so most documents no longer need a second MOFA step in the UAE.
• UAE-issued documents, attested online: UAE-issued documents such as birth and marriage certificates are now attested by MOFA online, usually within an hour, through the MOFA website and app with UAE PASS. For foreign documents, we confirm the timing in your quote.
• Apostille: the UAE has still not joined the Apostille Convention, so embassy legalization remains the route in both directions.
